      Very helpful

A cute little Moshi panda toy/accessory.

My daughter has been 'in' to Moshi Monsters for a year or two now. We were at the shops about 2 months ago when she purchased herself a Moshi Monsters Shi Shi Backpack Buddy!

What are Moshi Monsters you may be asking? Well Moshi Monsters started as an online game where children adopted and cared for their own virtual monsters. Moshi Monsters has now progressed in to something much bigger and there are all sorts of Moshi Monster merchandise available including magazines, books, video games, toys, trading cards and even a music album! There are hundreds of different Moshi Monsters and they all look very different. I would say Moshi Monsters are most appealing to 4-8 year olds.

Moshi Monsters Backpack Buddies can be found in most toy shops and supermarkets. On this occasion we were shopping in Morrisons. The Backpack Buddies come in a cardboard tray and have mixed Moshi Monsters inside (there were about 8 other different Moshi Monsters to choose from). My daughter has always been fond of a little Panda Moshi Monster called Shi Shi, so I wasn't surprised when she chose her. The Moshi Monster Backpack Buddies don't come in any packaging so you can see exactly what you're getting (they just have a small tag attached).

Shi Shi is a small plush toy, with soft inside and outside. She stands (not literally!) at about 3-4 inches tall. She looks very cute and would be recognisable to all Moshi Monster fans. She is mainly white and black in colour (her most striking feature are her big black panda eyes). The toy has no small bits stuck on (everything is stitched on flat) and seems pretty safe. On the top of Shi Shi's head is a plastic red clip. I like the fact it's plastic and not metal, as it's safer and is easier for children to use. My daughter has no problem using the clip to hang Shi Shi on things. My daughters Shi Shi Backpack Buddy has been clipped on to the zip of her jacket, the loop hole of her trousers, the zip of her swimming bag and is currently hanging from the handle of her school book bag! It can be clipped on to almost anything and is a good accessory to spruce up boring looking things! It seems like good quality, it's been in regular use for a couple of months and is going strong (I've noticed the white is starting to look a bit grubby now so I might have to give her a soapy hand wash soon).

The Moshi Monsters Shi Shi Backpack Buddy can usually be picked up for around the £3.00 mark (don't buy horrendously overpriced ones online!), which really isn't bad.

I'd recommend this little Backpack Buddy to all Moshi Monster fans. It's a nice pocket money and stocking filler toy/accessory.
