      good toy

The Count was always one of my favourite characters in Sesame Street. He made regular appearances, sitting alone in his castle, with a smirk on his face, the man was clearly not to be trusted. Though he was a dab hand with numbers and he would often come up with novel ways of getting you to count to ten. Modelled on Count Dracula, he obviously doesn't go around Sesame Street sucking childrens' blood, that would be creepy!

This new cuddly version of Count Von Count is a surprising choice of character to turn into a soft toy. I am not sure he would have as much play value as a Big Bird or an Elmo or even a Cookie Monster. But the Sesame Street universe is not just for kids, with collectors worldwide, he is a welcome addition to the busy flock.

A splendid facial likeness makes this toy a must-see. His eyes look slitty and creepy and his nose has the perfect point to it. Particularly good is the jawline which looks just like the muppet in the tv show.

You can see that great care and time has gone into his costume which is stunning. The well manicured suit is very tight fitting and gives the impression that The Count is man of style and grace, which of course he is! A glamorous cape sits proudly without being too stiff with an alluring pink tone to it. I was also impressed at the tiny goatee which has been cut neatly and completes his spooky look. He stands about 36 cm tall and
      is a great centre piece.

You can expect to pay fifteen pounds to purchase this chap as new, an ideal present for Sesame Street enthusiasts or younger children.
