From about the age of ten, my friends and I were addicted to collecting TY beanies. For those of you who do not know, TY Beanies are a collection of little teddies in all forms of animals and teddy bears. Once you start a collection they are quite addictive. Their cute little faces draw you in and indeed they are all adorable!

One of the Beanies is a Pengiun. This little penguin looks adorable! He has his black fur with a white fur front. His little nobbly feet are black, his arms black with white underneath. His face is what I likebest. It is both black and white, with a yellow shade fading through it, his bright orange beak shining out. He is gorgeous little beady eyes too. He would give any Happy Feet penguin a run for their money, for sure!

He is made of a very soft fur, with squishy soft stuffing fluff too. Sitting him onhis plump little bum he can balance himself upright too, which is good if he is displayed on a shelf!

The penguin comes with a little tag, a little red heart with the TY sybol on it. Inside you will find a special little poem dedicated to Admiral. It read:

When you are under my command
Here in this frozen, arctic land
One simple rule, as I decree
The first snow cone belongs to me !

It's not the cutest poem ever but I guess it sums up his character well! The bear washes okay ifyou scrub him with a damp cloth or sponge, but I would not recommend you put him in a washing machine!

If you want to buy this bear, you may struggle a bit. He is now known as 'retired', which means you cannot buy him in stores as he is no longer being manufactured. You may however be able to buy him on sites such as eBay. This means that the price is not guaranteed. Some may price him low as he is so old, but others may see him as an antique in the collection, and will price him quite high. Personally I would not pay more than £4 for him!

Admiral is definitely a cute little penguin! With his adorable little features and very soft fur, he is perfect! Though because of tags etc I would not recommend him to anybody under the age of three.

Admiral looks gorgeous along with the rest and is definitely not to be missing from anybody's soft cuddly collection of TY Beanies!
