As I am sure most of you who read my reviews will know I came across Beanie babies when on holiday with my Mam and Grandma for my 16th birthday and collected them from then.
My parents went away to America and they brought me this bunny back, apparently the beanie babies craze was much bigger over there with shops specialising in the rarer and more expenisive beanies. I have no idea how much my parents paid for this rabbit as they bought it when it had been retired for a couple of years.
Floppity is a cute little bunny who is lilac in colour and has black eyes and a cute pink nose, she has really floppy ears hence the name which come down to past her shoulders. Floppity has a silk little bow tied around her neck and some little pieces of pink thread for her whiskers.
This beanie baby was released for sale on the 1st of January 1997, there were three bunnies all released on that date and they were all the same apart from the colour, Floppity is lilac, Hippity is pale green and Hoppity is Pale Pink. Floppity's date of birth is the 28th of May 1996 which can be found out from her hang tag which is a red cardboard heart which all beanie babies have, the tag also has a little poem inside which is,
Floppity hops from here to there
Searching for eggs without a care
Lavender coat from head to toe
All dressed up and nowhere to go!
Floppity was retired by the company on the 1st of May 1998.
I think Floppity is a lovely little bunny although I think she would look nicer sat next to her siblings but we weren't able to get the set of the three. She is a lovely soft little bunny and has a quite sad face aomehow but I am not too sure what it is that makes her seem sad. I would recommend this bunny she is soft and cute although if you want to give the bunny to a child you need to remove the tags first.
