Quite a few years ago when stuck at an airport waiting for a delayed flight home, we ended up browsing the shops and my husband (boyfriend at time) picked me up this little beanie baby dog called Frisbee the Weimaranar. I have no idea was exactly he paid at the time, but I have seen it on amazon from around £6 and I'm sure you could pick it up for less on ebay given it was first produced in 2001. Upon returning home, this little cuddly toy has sat in the front of my car for all those years.
I was so glad that my husband picked this dog in comparison to some of the other beanie babies in the TY range which I am not always so keen on. This little dog comes with a beautiful checked blue and black ribbon around its neck, and has beautiful grey black soft soft fur that is almost velvety to touch. The blue ribbon compliments the blue eyes of the dog.
Like all the beanie babies, this is soft and squidgy and from the little I know about these babies, they seem to each have their own birthday, this one being the 29th June according to the tag that comes around the dog's neck. THere is a little poem that comes with the dog, saying, ' Throw the disc and watch me go, I'll always bring it back you know, to me this game is always new, you'll get tired before I do!' I think this is a lovely, cute and unique extra with the beanie babies.
As I said this little dog has sat at the front of my car since I got it, in fact it has sat in the front of three cars now, given how I have changed my car since 2001. Since my daughter has come along and started to take an interest in teddies and show them affection she insists on me giving her the teddy every time we get into the car to go anywhere and she will cuddly the teddy for some of the journey.
All in all, this is a really lovely teddy. It is one of the softest velvety teddies I own and it is a perfect size for sitting at the front of my car, or in fact, the right size for my daughter to cuddle. I'm so glad my husband bought this for me and I will treasure it!
