The Amazon app is available from the app store on the iPhone. I am not sure if it is available as an app on any other smart phones as I do know that a lot of them are not only just available on the iPhone and iPod, but I am just reviewing the app as it is on my iPhone. This app is free and I have had it for a while now and they are always releasing updates for it. So the update possibilities are very likely. You can log in to your account and just like the Amazon website does, its homepage comes up with recommendations for you and things you have been looking at recently. It doesn't keep you logged in though when you come to buy something, which I ...  Read the complete review

Easy shopping on the go with Amazon (475 words)

Amazon has always been one of my favourite websites: great stock (range expands regularly), free delivery, good customer service and the option to store and access wish lists. The app is free to download from the app store and saves to your phone as Amazon Uk in a little blue icon with a shopping trolley. It loads really quickly from the screen. The app basically allows you to do most of the things you can do on the website. You can search for items, buy with one click, amend your wishlist, search wishlists, place orders, amend orders and check order status. It is basically a mini version of the website, maximised for iPhone use. One downside for this is ...  Read the complete review

Amazon App (iPhone Application): Website in my Pocket :-) (480 words)

Amazon iPhone App For me, Amazon and EBay come hand in hand so it goes without saying that if I downloaded the EBay App then I also downloaded this Amazon App as well. Having previously reviewed the EBay App, today I'll tell you about the Amazon App. I downloaded this App from the App store in iTunes, it was free so I didn't hesitate to get it downloaded and installed quickly, really simple process it's just a case of clicking the mouse a few times and I'm away. As there are different Amazon stores Amazon.com etc. The one I have downloaded is of course Amazon.co.uk. At first I was invited to enter my account details so I would be able to ...  Read the complete review

Useful app for Amazon shoppers & sellers (352 words)

Amazon is one of the most visited retailers for general products online nowadays and so as you would expect, now has an app for it's smartphone users. As far as i am aware you can get this on both Android and IOS however i only have an iPhone so can only confirm that. The app is free via the app store and is quite a quick download if you're on wifi, the first thing i will mention is the interface. The interface of the app makes it easy to navigate and find your way round the mobile version of the site but it does have it's limitations. One i found was when you narrow your category down, for example if you're searching for a camera you can change category ...  Read the complete review

Amazon App (iPhone Application): Buy anything anywhere (254 words)

I use Amazon a lot as I like to find a bargin and I generally can not afford most things at pull price! I got an iPhone and downloaded this immediately. The app connects to your amazon account and you can search for anything as you do on the web site. There are not so many things you are able to do compared to the website. The seraches are better on the website as you can refine them more and you can see more details about the items. Say that that things you can do on the App are good enough to be able to make an informed opinion about what item you want to buy, see different seller, reiews from other buyers and postages. It does mean that the ...  Read the complete review
