Bubble Bash is an application which is comparable to Beehive Bedlam and other similar games.
The objective is to fire bubbles into the pack above, matching 3 colours to burst them. You progress through the game by doing the various levels and moving from one island to the next.
Unlike similar games, the levels don't just vary by difficulty and formation of the bubble pack. Some levels have different objectives you must complete. I would prefer it to just stick to the same format.
Apart from the progression 'story mode' or 'arcade' as it's known, there is another game mode called 'Crab Fever'. In this you simply keep trying to remove the bubble, while more and more lines are added. I probably prefer this to the arcade mode.
You control the direction of your shot by moving your finger along the screen for direction and removing your finger (from the screen, not your hand) to fire the bubble. You can also change the angle of where you fire from by tilting the phone. There are other ways of controlling it by I find this way, which is the way it starts, the best. The controls are easy to get the hang of and respond well to what you ask it to do.
Bubble Bash is quite a good game, but not one I regularly play as there are better games available, even free ones. However, for £0.59 you are sure to get your monies worth and I doubt you'll regret buying it. It does take up 70.9 MB, which is quite big compared to other apps, but still isn't too much.
