'Logos Quiz Game' is available on the Apple app store for iPhones, iPod Touches and iPads. I am not sure if it is available on other smart phones marketplaces to purchase. It is currently free to purchase and is No.5 in the top free apps on the app store with a rating of 4 and a half stars. I often check the top apps in the app store but usually only purchase and download those that have great reviews or if a friend has recommended one to me. I noticed a friend of mine had posted on Facebook a post from this app which showed how many logos she had managed to guess so far out of the 566 logos that the app holds. I thought it seemed like a pretty simple game and so didn't think about getting it myself until I saw it on the top apps with its great reviews, and it was free so I thought I may as well try it, as I can always delete it if I don't like it. I currently own a 16gb iPhone 4s and so I can't hold lots of apps if I want to have a lot of music on it too as I run out of space, which is why I only get apps if I think I really will like them and actually use them. Th Logos Quiz Game is only 17.3 MB though and so doesn't take up much space compared to a lot of the other bigger games available. The aim of this quiz game is to guess the names of logos from different companies. There are currently 566 logos to guess but the game states 'more logos coming soon' so I am guessing there will be an update for the game soon. The logos are on different levels and so when you have guessed so many from the first level, you will then unlock the second level, and so on. There are currently 8 levels with the first one having 34 logos to guess, and the others all having 76 to guess. What makes the game trickier is that not the whole of the logo will be shown, only part of it will be. This may seem hard at first but I was quite surprised with how many I guessed from just a tiny part of the logo being shown! If you get stuck you can also hint to help you. Each logo contains 3 hints. You earn hints throughout the game as you keep guessing logos correctly, or you can buy more hints using cash or stars. I managed to build up quite a lot of stars but I am not actually sure how you earn them! However as a result I have never actually had to purchase any hints using cash as I have had enough hints that I have earned or paid for using stars to help me out. I don't usually pay for extras in a game even if the game itself was free... as tempting as it is when I get addicted to games as easily as I do! Therefore I do like the fact that I haven't had to spend a penny on this game yet. You can also publish the logo on Facebook to get help from your friends if you get stuck. I have done this with a couple of logos and it does work, as my friends then commented on it giving me the answer. As well as this you can publish your stats showing how many you have guessed correctly so far and how many points you have. In the stats which is under 'options' in the game you can also check how long you have been playing the game and compare your score with others playing the game in the world. I did get very addicted to this game and couldn't put my phone down until I had guessed as many as I could, as a result this game only lasted me a few days until I got to the point where I couldn't guess any more, but not because I ran out of logos but because they just get too hard. I have kept the app on my phone though as I want to wait until the update comes out with more logos. This is a very simple game and I recommend it to anyone! It is free so if this game isn't for you then you can always delete it after and won't lose out. I ended up getting a lot of my friends addicted to this game too who also seemed to play it for a few days then give up, but it is fun while it lasts.
When recently downloading some games for the iPhone I noticed a new game called Logos Quiz. The idea is you try and identify various logos within the game. You begin on level 1 and you have 34 random logos and you click on them and you have to try and guess who they are. You might have someone like KFC show up which is kind of easy to identify due to the face of the colonel and on the same level might be the logo for someone else like Garnier. You never know what each logo is you will face until you reach the level. You have to try and get them right if you can on your first attempt as this scores the maximum 100 points; if you get a slight spelling error or use a shortened version of the company you tend to get 99 points. You will get stuck and I have struggled numerous times and this is always on the American firms as I am not used to seeing their logos. Some you take a random guess at and you might get them right but obviously the more times you try and fail the more lower the score becomes. You can use 3 hints for each logo and some of the hints are superb. The hints can provide you with either a key piece of information to assist you further in solving the identity of the logo or it could end up making you completely unaware. You do not get given hints though without working for them and it would appear once you get 2 or 3 logos correct your given 1 hint free and then every few you get right a new hint is added. You do not want to use them without really needing to. After you get so many right on each level you unlock a new level up with even more logos on and there is another 7 levels with 76 logos on each. Again logos vary and even on level 8 where you assume the logos would be difficult there are some easier ones of there then on the first level. I am doing well so far and I find logic is that you go with your gut instinct and try and hazard a guess as the points are meaningless. Unless you're trying to compete against friends you have with the same game your virtually never going to find a use for obtaining the points. I like how this game allows you to used simple versions of a company. My examples would be using the FBI as your answer instead of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I like how the game lets you know if you're nearly right but have a slight spelling error. Perhaps you write the world Keloggs in but the game will show up a gold logo near the word to say you are missing a letter or spelt it wrong. I think because the game is free it is fun; they have said updates are available soon as well so there is an extra incentive to download the game. The graphics are excellent so if you see the logo you should be able to view it very well without a problem. I think the game could be moving from being a free application to one you need to pay for especially due to the popularity it is showing at the moment. It has been top of the download charts for a while now and it is a really good and addictive game.
