Since owning my Iphone for quite a while now, I've finally worked out how to download apps with the help of my granddaughter (much to her amusement). I found songpop when I was looking for music quizzes as I've always enjoyed listening to music so thought it would be fun to test my knowledge. I downloaded the app from the app store for free about three months ago and hadn't heard of it before then. Simply put, the aim of the game is to guess songs. You can challenge other people by finding their username, finding friends on facebook or choosing random and playing another player who you dont' know. You can also recieve these challenges too. There ... Read the complete review

Around 6 months ago my husband bought me an iPad as a gift and since then I've spent most evenings lying in bed playing games against my friends and unlocking achievements in the 'Game Centre' too. One game that I have been playing regularly for several months now is 'Song Pop'. This application for the iPhone and iPad was free to download for me from the App Store on my iPad and the download took about 15 seconds in all after I had entered my iTunes login information. The aim of this app is to identify the title and artist of a song. Basically you will hear an extract from a song and there will be four options on the screen. You then need to ... Playing games on the iPad I find myself seeing new games all the time and one of these is a game I have seen rave reviews about for a while now so decided to go and make a move and download the game. ~~ The Game ~~ Well the game from the title might give away some indication as to what this application is all about. This app requires you to use your music knowledge and try and work out various tunes you hear in a quick time. You begin by setting up the account which is just a name and you then get to choose whether you want to play a friend from your Facebook lists who have the application or you can face someone random who is online and ... Songpop is yet another free app that I have found while browsing the App store. I do listen to quite a few genres of music , so do quite like the guess the song kind of games, mainly because I tend to be able to win them quite a lot. It is free to download from the App store, and I don't think it has an age rating. As long as you are interested in music or actually know quite a bit about song names, then this is probably a great game to play. The main aim of the game itself is to guess 5 songs the fastest before another player. This player may be either a Facebook friend or a random player the game will find for you (personal details don't need to ... Read the complete review

SongPop is the latest app that will drive you absolutely crazy. It is available on iPhone and Android devices and allows you to play with you Facebook friends (by linking your account) or by playing with random players from all over the world. The basis of the game is to guess the name of an artist or song title and in the fastest time between you and your opponent. If you win against your opponent then you will be awarded with 3 gold coints (losing players get 1). These gold coins can be used to buy 'genres' of music. Once your decide who you want to play with, you are given the choice of three genre's to choose from (for example, Ultimate 90's, ... Read the complete review
