Creative Sound Blaster Live! Platinum ... face it not any people are really bothered about their soundcard. I had to invest in a new one earlier this year because my old one blew up! Fortunately I had £200 spare! I decided as I had nothing else to spend it on to invest iin a new top spec sound card. This cost me £169! It has two parts, one for the inside back of your PC and the other part goes in a 5.25" bay in the case. I have to say now using the best soundcard and comparing it to my old one it plays a dream. The volume goes to extreme lengths without loosing quality. It has all the features you need or want and supports all of the different sound modes in games. It may look ugly but it is we... Creative Soundblaster Live Value ... know this is the wrong section for this but there is no section for it. I put it in here because this is the sound card I use the headphones on. I got these headphones from my brother for a birthday presant. When I first used them I was susprised at how good the quality of the sound was. From my normal speakers to the quality of the sound from the headphones I was shocked at how bad the quality of my PC speakers were. I tested out the quality of my new headphones on sound from games and mp3's which was amazing. I don't usually use micropones but on the side of these headphones there is a microphone on the side on a bendy wire which is good as it means the... Creative Sound Blaster Live! ... had a 16 sound card and using my new sound blaster live i esperienced a new sound that allows to hear the point the sound come from. I think that the price is very low and allows to buy this sound card becaose differences between a 16 sound card and a new sound are very very large. You can experience a great sound with two heardphones, but if you can use 4 + 1 subwoofer the sound is very very good . I really can advice you this audio card ! ...
