Compatibility is excellent, with A3D games coming in abundace (the likes of Half life sound so much better on an A3D card, as they are enhanced for such cards) and also sound-blaster emulation ensures any game will run as its is expected to as standard. My only gripe with this card is the lack of support. Aureal never were any good at suporting their products, and finding drivers that are up to date are a nightmare! I am still hunting for drivers compatible fully with Windows 2000 professional to this day! ...more

I had this card supplied when I bought my new PC some two years ago, and even now I am still impressed with the sound it produces. The A3D drivers make your two speaker steroe computer sound like a real surround sound type setting, and this does enhance games further than you would think. Compatibility is excellent, with A3D games coming in abundace (the likes of Half life sound so much better on an A3D card, as they are enhanced for such cards) and also sound-blaster emulation ensures any game will run as its is expected to as standard.
