I was recommended this sound card by a music shop, to whom I specifically asked for a card that will be rock solid and not prone to error. Well they weren't wrong. I've been using this for years both on PC's and mac and it is the most rock solid card I've ever used with Logic. The monitoring is first class, with barely noticable latency. This is a much harder review to write because when these soundcards work, you barely notice them, and therefore I find there is very little to say. I have been using this neat little firewire interface with my laptop, cubase, reason and logic pro successfully for 3 years. The FA-66 is a nifty (and very light) portable firewire interface that has two (mic and jack combination) inputs on the front and a further two red/white inputs on the back (for decks etc). This interface is great for a small startup home studio if you want to record guitar and vocals or a similar combination. I would reccomend shopping around before you buy this and find out whether you need the firewire instead of USB as this will cost you more.
