Champneys Health Resort Forest Mere: ... decide to take a over night break with my girlfriend to Champneys at Forest Mere. This was the first time I had been to a health spa and I have to say I was very impressed. My girlfriend who had been to similar places before was equally as impressed. 	Champneys Health Resort Tring ... Christmas day last year my husband presented me with a Red Letter Day gift voucher entitling me to a Spa Day at one of various Health Spas located throughout the UK. After several months of not quite getting round to it, I finally decided to make use of my voucher a few weeks ago. I chose Champneys Tring purely because it is in Hertfordshire, like me. This is a residential resort, but as I did not reside, I cannot comment on the accommodation in this review. 	Aqua Sana ... the scene: Stressed couple in mid twenties, one previous spa experience, on holiday at Center Parcs Elveden and keen for some pampering. The spa changing rooms: Beautifully lit (the kind of lighting that makes you look good) and tastefully decorated, the changing rooms implied the spa experience was going to be good. The wooden-fronted lockers took £1 coins and the helpful receptionists checked you had one before you went in. The white towel robes and white towels would be best described as adequate rather than luxurious. 	Ragdale Hall ... went to Ragdale Hall last weekend, just as a day guest, and can honestly say I ve never had a more relaxing Saturday! As a day guest you are allowed to check in from 10:30. We were a little bit early and were waiting for another member of our party (there were 5 of us) to arrive, who was stuck on the motorway. We were kept comfortable in the cafe area, with complementary drinks while we waited. When our friend arrived a consultant talked us through our schedules and helped us make our first plans.
