I had been thinking about going on a detox for a while, and when i seen detox Marbella advertised on the internet i decided this is for me, mainly because the thought of travelling as far as Thailand was not an option. Two years ago i travelled to Spa Samui in Thailand and did a 7 day fasting / cleasning program. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and at the end felt i could easily do a few more days. Last year i decided that it was time for another such fasting / cleansing program but not wanting to travel to Thailand again i searched for somewhere closer to home and found Detox Marbella. I booked to stay at Detox Marbella (Vortex Vitaal) in Autumn 05. I traveled from Greece to stay at the RETREAT. I was very disappointed with the whole experience. For a start, my room didn't have it's own bathroom. I had booked and paid for a room with its own bathroom , and their website clearly advertises, (and still advertises) an en-suite bathroom, but I did not find out until I got there, that the bathroom I had was just off the living room. This was not very private, especially as it was the only bathroom that was not en-suite to a bedroom. This meant other guests wanted to use it too.
