Steam Room The steam room has heated ceramic seats which are very relaxing - the idea of this room is that you relax in the steamy atmosphere and it is supposed to detox the skin. Last November I was treated to a day at Eden Hall Spa in Newark near Nottinghamshire by my boss. Me and another colleague had just spent a month working late nights for 6 or 7 days a week to finish a project with very tight deadlines. We were both very tired, stressed, unhappy and hadn't had a life of our own for a month - so this came as a very welcome break! We initially chose Eden Hall as it was in a convenient location for us both (also as work were paying and this was the most expensive Spa in the area - we thought we should take advantage of this!!) I have been to Spas before but they have always been attached to a hotel. However Eden Hall is a day spa - ...  Read the complete review

I visited Eden Hall for the second time this week. I last visited about 2 years ago and I had quite a different experience this time around. For those of you who don't know about Eden Hall it is classified as a day spa (open at 8.30am close at 6pm) and is based in Newark near Nottingham. Prices --------- I will start with prices as I think this will later explain my overall rating of Eden Hall. You can have a basic day for just £69, or if you do a mid week boost this can be brought down to as little as £59 at certain times of the year! The basic day includes use of the swimming pool, aqua detox, gym and fitness classes and a 3 course ...  Read the complete review

Eden Hall Spa was a wonderful experience that I will never forget. My friend and I decided for our 21st birthday we wanted to do something different. So my friend suggested a spa day. These we discovered are rather expensive! Almost giving up it was suggested that Eden Hall was a possibility and the following is an account of our day. We booked a ‘Relaxed Day Experience’ for £69. This included the following: robe hire (which could be changed as many times as you like), 3 course lunch, Aqua Detox facilities, Salt water swimming pool, Gym and relaxation classes. Eden Hall A beautiful stately home decorated in a modern style yet in keeping with ...  Read the complete review

I have been overdoing it with the hours at work lately, and this week they were really taking their toll. Recently I have been surviving on a few hours sleep, and working until very early in the morning, (despite having started the previous morning!). My working life usually means I am driving somewhere in Britain or staying in a hotel and never seeing the light of day. Travelling home this week, the tiredness was catching up with me, and the stress was DEFINITELY getting to me! Enter Eden Spa. I have always been a lover of a regular spa day visits, and have driven past Eden Spa several times. About Eden ...  Read the complete review
