Hoar Cross Hall.

Hoar Cross Hall is a beautiful stately home situated in a countryside setting 13 miles from Lichfield, Staffordshire. It is the home of one of the Edan Day Spa's.

I was lucky enough to be treated to a spa/pamper day there, and can say it was one of the best presents I have ever recieved.
Although it is quite expensive, it is worth every penny. The building is not only beautiful on the outside, but the decor inside is to a high standard and is very clean and welcoming. Even the changing rooms and toilets are immaculate!

There are a variety of activities on offer including; pools, saunas, steam rooms, aqua massage, gym, excercise classes, relaxation classes, archery, cycling, walks, tennis, golf coaching, hair/tanning salon, manicures, pedicures and a range of therapeutic treatments.
It is definately worth going online to check what is available as it would take me forever to go into detail about them all. There are also different packages available, with some good deals to be had at certain times of the year.

For those opting for the spa/pampering packages, the Hall provides you with soft towels and robes, so there is no need to take your own. There are also body washes and shampoos provided in the changing rooms, along with hairdryers and a fancy machine that spin dries your costume for you!
There are also free lockers, with combination codes so that you don't need to carry a locker key around with you all day.

There is also a shop, cafe and a restaurant, along with bedrooms for those guests that wish to stay over. Although I didn't get to stay overnight, my day experience did include a free 3 course meal at the restaurant. This alone was worth every penny of my £90 spa day package. The food was delicious, with a good choice on offer and the option to help yourself to extra's from the food carts. The presentation of the food was fantastic and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. My only negative was that you had to pay extra for your drinks with the meal (including water), which was annoying as there was free water, tea and coffee on hand throughout the day.

The overall atmostphere is warm and relaxing, and despite the elegance of the place there is no obvious snobbery. Everyone is welcome (providing you are aged 16 or over), and I was suprised to see a fair number of men there.

For further details and information, you can visit www.edenspa.co.uk or call 01283 575678.

Well worth a visit, and for any gentleman reading this it makes an ideal gift for the ladies!

Summary: You have to visit it and experience it for yourself!
