Advantages: absolute bliss

Disadvantages: bit pricey to stay over

This once a big Stately home is now a place of relaxation. It has sso much ineresting Staffordshire history. However, I am most interested in its here and now as a health Spa.

I Cannot comment on the over night stays at the spa but if it is anything like the luxurios spa and its surroundings, the rooms must be first class.

Although the over night stays seen quite expensive a day package can be taken advantage of. They range from £69 per person. This includes full access to all Eden Spa facilities and Hoar cross hall facilities, a 3 course dinner, classes. locker, robe and slippers for the day.

The next one up is £90 which includes all of the above plus a choice of 2 spa treatments.

There are other day packages to choose from but these are the cheapest. They can be bought from www.edenspa.co.uk. These day packages are ideal if you cannot afford to stay over night and really worth the money as think about it a 3 course meal for one person can cost around £25 ish then a massage around £30-45 (for the ones you get with the package).

Free coffee, tea and water is available throughout the day which is another bonus.

This is an ideal gift to treat someone special. Vouchers can be bought from hoar cross or edenspa.co.uk

Some facilities include: Hydrotherapy pools, salt water pools, Aqua detox areas, saunas, jacuzzis, steam rooms, heated loungers, a slumber room with massage chairs, Spa treatment rooms, cycling, golf, restaraunts, gym.

It is an ideal place for a quiet hen party, to go with friends, couples or to relax on your own.

The only down side i would say is the price to stay over. After relaxing at this health spa it would be lovely to not have to drive home.

Summary: great gift for that special person who deserves it
