Advantages: THE FOOD! The lovely thermal spa! Mmmm!

Disadvantages: A complementary robe wouldn't be too much to ask, would it?

I love Ragdale! It's just terrific value for money, and they're so attentive and professional, and continually seem to be upgrading their facilities to get better and better! The candle pool in the spa area is probably my favourite bit - so calming and exotic feeling, and the outside bit of the pool is really good fun, especially if it's a nippy day (don'e tell the climate change people though!). Whenever I've had treatments, I've always been really impressed, although I think this always varies from person to person. I've certainly felt well looked-after from start to finish. I also love the little touches they have, the cutsie, twee furnishings, the comfy chairs, the aspirational Home mags scattered about and the Emma Bridgwater china. Their underfloor-heated slate is also lovely. So much inspiration there for home decor! The range of classes is also great, and I like the fact that they put a lot on in the mornings, which is when most people want to do them of course. The food's also amazing! Hard not to stuff your face to be honest, it's all so delicious!

Summary: Great to go to alone, with your mum or your mate. Great value compared to other spas I think!
