Newest Review: ... ease, my only problem was finding how to get to the pool. The spa changing area was a circular feature and as nice as it looked it could get a bit confusing. I managed to find the lockers to put my slippers and robe in but then had lost my whereabouts from where I had walked round in a circle to find the lockers as to where the swimming pool entrance was. I was please to see as I was walking around what seemed like a merry go round that there was also someone else walking around trying to find it as well. We eventually found it after having a good laugh and it was well worth it. It’s a 25 metre pool with a whirl pool to the right hand side... more

A place where the England Football Team come back time and time again to be pampered, a place that celebrities are often seen relaxing in. So when I felt last week very stressed and in need of 24hrs complete relaxation I couldn’t think of a better place to go. I had never been to Champneys Springs before and so was very excited as to what it would be like and wondering whether I might bump into a celebrity on my stay there. The resort is situated out in the countryside of Ashby de la Zouch in Leicestershire. FIRST IMPRESSIONS On entering the resort I felt like I had been transported into another world. A world away from problems, a very care free ...  Read the complete review

Springs Hydro at Ashby De La Zouche in Leicestershire has started offering a Spa evening which is basically a visit to the health farm for the evening. This is great for me as I live only four miles away and have really easy access to it. The evening consists of using the facilites, which include Swimming pool, Gym, Sauna, Jaccuzi and steam room from 5pm to 8.30pm followed by a three course meal in the restaurant. The new refurbishment is nearly complete the new swimming pool and the sauna etc are fantastic and in very luxurious surroundings. So go and relax for three hours, change in the new, very trendy, well equipped changing rooms and ...  Read the complete review

I had a 5 day break at Springs with a friend of mine (we had to share a twin room but it saved us a lot of money) and I am longing for the opportunity to return! Totally pampered springs to mind, I ate healthily, tried different exercise classes -something for everyone and all levels - great way of seeing which suits you best, and oh the massages, facials, pedicure, manicure. I have never fancied a massage before, nor did I like my feet touched but am converted. An opportunity to just relax and unwind - on my return friends commented how well I looked, how clear my eyes and skin were and I lost 1/2 stone so felt really good. I would recommend it to anyone. I am ...  Read the complete review

As part of my friend’s 40th birthday celebrations I spent the day at Springs Health Farm with her, so I thought I would tell you all about it. Springs is just south of Ashby de la Zouch near to Measham and junction 12 of the M42/A42. There were quite a group of people who wanted to go, some stayed for the weekend (£209.95), some just stayed overnight on Saturday (£99.95) and three of us just went for the day on Saturday. We chose the ‘Springs Day’ costing £74.95 payable when we booked last September. This included an introduction and coffee on arrival at 9am, a buffet lunch, a full body massage, a facial and unlimited use of ...  Read the complete review

My trip to Springs Hydro was something I'd love to repeat if my finances were equal to the challenge! Set in the middle of the Leicestershire countryside it really has the most beautiful and relaxing surroundings. We had one of the downstairs rooms with floor to celieing windows which looked over the meadows to the river with moorhens wandering around outside and fantastic views of sunrise and sunset. The room was big, comfortable, nicely decorated, and had a jacuzzi! I wouldn't worry about going alone to Springs as it's a pretty sociable place. At meal times you will end up sitting with other people and every time we sat down to eat the ...  Read the complete review
