The Sanctuary

Newest Review: ... either. The products I was told were best for my skin were among the cheapest! The Atrium Pool: Most people know The Sanctuary by the picture of the lady on a swing over the pool. This is the Atrium pool and yes I have been on the swing! This pool is warmer then the exercise pool and is situated under the lounge. I had a little soak before my next treatment. Treatment Two (Sanctuary Full Body Massage): Third floor! I'm not overly lazy or fat but after a relaxing morning those stairs nearly killed me! Ok maybe not that bad but it still felt like a small mountain. Before starting the massage I was asked if there was any part of my body I w... more

Crowned Review The Sanctuary: Mummy Day (2580 words)

The Sanctuary: A women only spa in the heart of Covent Garden in London. Feels a bit unfair to the lads but if the boys reading this are anything like mine you're just happy to watch your favourite team win and east some good food. The Sanctuary believes that if you feel good about your body, you feel better about yourself and the world around you. Sanctuary products are available exclusively from Boots so if you can't make it to the spa then try a little at home therapy. The Gift: It was about a week after my birthday and I had missed a delivery of something requiring a signature. I took the little Royal Mail red card and wondered up to the post ...  Read the complete review

id been to the spa for mine and my friends joint birthday. I thught it was lovey, the koi carp louge was beautiful and the swing over the pool in there is grea, although i am quite tall so could reach it but i think shorter people may have a job trying to! The sauna roooms and sports swimming pool are lovey as well as the jacuzzi,I had a full body sugar scrub in one of the treatment rooms, and that was also relaxing and felt fantastic with the soft music and aroma in the room. The only downside to the sanctuary i think is the prices, i think the food is to expensive for what it is-i also think that you would only really like the food if you are into health foods such ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review The Sanctuary: I had high expectations, but it was OK. (284 words)

I had a gift voucher for a day at the Sanctuary. I had seen their products in Boots and had high expectations. When I got there hardly any of the staff could speak English and weren't that friendly. I saw the picture of the pool with the Swing and wanted to try it, but it's too high to reach from the water. I had a nice drink called an infusion that contained natural ingredients, but apart from that most of the drinks were the usual kind such as cola. There are two pools. One with the Swing where the room is quite relaxing with big chairs, low lighting and koy carp. There were a lot of candles. The spa had just opened after a fire. Half of the room is the relaxing part ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on The Sanctuary

Visited the Sanctuary Spa in Covent Garden with friends on 6th April. Staff were very friendly and helpful even if it was a bit chaotic on arrival. Had a very relaxing day trying out jacuzzi, saunas and generally lounging around. Lunch was good, if a little over-priced for 2 courses, particularly as service was slow. Sleep Chamber and Zibu flotation treatments were excellent - relaxed me enough to fall asleep both times! Not the best spa I've ever been to, but a really good option for central London - a little oasis in the bustle of city life.

I was lucky enough that my darling husband bought me a voucher for an evening at the sanctuary last year for Christmas. Of course, due to my complete inability to organise myself I failed to visit until early December. My package cost £110 and included: Entry to The Santuary Covent Garden for an evening from 5 - 10 pm. One 25 minute treatment, choice of facial, manicure, massage, pedicure or a body wrap. Dinner Use of the facilities (including sleep retreat) Goody bag (containing starter pack - cleanser (30ml), toner (30ml), day cream with SPF 15 (30ml) a flannel and two face mask packs Discount on any further ...  Read the complete review
