The Sensory Spa Reviews

Newest Review: ... greeted by very friendly members of staff upon our arrival. We were shown upto the spa and each given a bathrobe. The spa itself was quite small, but large enough for what we required. We were soon shown to our separate treatment rooms, the room itself was very luxurious, with big mirrors on the walls and large, comfy chairs and a large massage bed laid out with big, fluffy towels on it. There was relaxing music playing in the background and candles lit around the room to make it even more relaxing. The treatments themselves were absolutely heavenly and practically made me fall asleep as they were so relaxing! Im sorry, but I can't ... more

very unprofessional staff, were very late, no excuse just sitting and chatting, and all i wanted was an eyebrow wax, thought would give them another chance but the same again, just being ignored and late again, very rude staff, so definately wont return. poor service indeed, do not recommend.

The Daily Mail had a special buy one get one free offer on the spa packages so I thought that I would treat my Mum for her birthday. We booked for a day spa package which included a facial and back and shoulder massage and also included full use of the gym, pool, sauna and steam room, so me and my Mum decided to make a day of it! The day package usually costs £60 each, but as we had buy one get one free, it only cost us £30 each so was a real bargain!! We found the spa very easily as the directions were very straightforward and we were greeted by very friendly members of staff upon our ... Read the complete review

My daughter and myself went and vistited our local sensory spa for acrylic nail extnesnions. The extensions after 3 days significantly lifted, the acrylic went cloudy and looked liked I had smoked hundred ciigarettes a day. My daughters nail extension were worse than mine. The aftercare service was diablolical the manager who did our nails is only in certain days and could not do them after 5pm and I work 9-5pm. My daughter and myself went to the sensory spa at Barnsley, for acrylic nail extnesions. The nail extension were very poor they looked like they had been done by a child with a home kit. The aftercare was rubbish I ended up going to The Nail Salon, Edenthorpe, Doncaster, where I got excellent service the girls were nice and chatty and not standoffish like at Barnsley and I have a lovely set of nails. My daughter got four nails replaced and she charged her for two 14.00 when a full set is only 35.00. Disgusting service. Manager whispers to other colleague regarding my daughter very unprofessional!!!!!! Be warned when booking with them. Rubbish service very unprofessional!!!!!
