... bought this speaker a little over 6 months ago to add to my home theater system and I have to say it is a very good center speaker, which I can not fault in any way. Intempo Digital IDS-01 ... machine is intended primarily for use with an iPod or similar device so that the music can be heard without headphones. For such a small unit the sound is impressive - certainly not tinny, which has been my experience with other units intended to perform the same function. Obviously it won t be up to the standard of a hi-fi system, but within a room it gives a very acceptable sound, and the volume can be increased to a good level without distortion. The iPod slips onto the unit without any difficulty (and the machine charges the iPod while it s on). BK XLS200 Mk2 ... those who like to Buy British this product should appeal (assuming you re after a great subwoofer, that is!) What we have here is a quality built standalone subwoofer unit from BK Electronics of Essex, who proudly advertise the fact that their products are designed and manufactured in the UK. This beast is the XLS-200 DF (DF standing for Downward Facing, which is why you can t see the speaker unit in the photo).
