	B&W DM 302 ... playing CDs and amplifying the signals to a reasonable output level without too many distortions. But building a very good speaker at a reasonable price requires far more skill. A task at which the Hi-Fi brands sold in high street shops usually fail, including such famous names as Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood, Yamaha or Technics. An affordable cure to the typical ailments of a cheap stereo is the B&W DM 302, a bookshelf speaker for £150 per pair. I bought a pair of these over a year ago as secondary speakers and use them alternatingly in my bedroom and kitchen, as well as for parties. 	B&W CDM 2SE ... B&W CDM 2 is a bookshelf speaker at the size of a larger shoebox. At around £500 per pair, this is the entry model to the CDM series which also includes the slightly larger CDM 1 (£700 / pair) and the floor-standing CDM 7 (£1,000 / pair), plus a centre speaker and subwoofer for home cinema enthusiasts. Like the other models the CDM 2 employs a 2-way system consisting of a metal 25mm / 1 inch tweeter and a Kevlar 165 mm / 6.5 inch midrange/bass woofer. 	B&W DM 601 S2 ... is a suberb speaker, before buying it i never imagined that it could handle all the variouls different styles of music and sound brilliant with all of them. ROCK The vinyl cones make rock music really stomatch churning as they make the air vibrate whenever the guitar is struck giving you a brilliant quailty sound. Classical The Ball at the top, plays the very light notes and the tweeter handles the sound perfectly giving you a crips, sharp and clear sound output.
