I asked for some speakers on my christmas list, expecting something a little large and not quite so novelty like. I am always sceptical of novelty speakers because I doubt they can quite cut the mustard. At £35 these were not cheap but they do perform, given their emphasis on style and amusement. They will fill an average sized room very loudly, so much so that putting your ipod on the loudest setting will be almost too loud!

They are easy to use and plug straight into the headphone jack, which is good because anything more complicated would be enough to give me a headache. In terms of battery life these pups could do with going a bit longer. I used good batteries so that I would get the most out of them, but I was disappointed when I had to change them after a week or two. ( I did use them a lot in that time mind you)

If you are looking for a novelty speaker then this is one for you, coming in a range of colours there is enough to suit a large selection of people. Don't be put off thinking that they won't do the job, because they will.
