Very good loudspeakers, in the whole frequency range, considering the price tag - powerful yet controlled bass; delicious mid-range, and smooth and detailed treble. You do not need to be very careful about partnering the Liberty 5+, since they are easy to drive. On the other hand you must give them lots of room to operate, especially to the rear walls (due to its bass reflex at the back) - more than one meter, for sure - in order to avoid boomy bass. Despite playing in a different price championship than my Pathos Classic 1 amplifier and Classe CDP-10 player in a mere 2 channel configuration, the Eltax Liberty 5+ can rend then justice. They have good features also, as they can be bi-wirable or bi-amped, and come with neat metal adjustable spikes to attached them firmly to the floor and avoid bad vibrations. I am more than pleased with my choice. Strongly recommended!!!
