I bought these speakers mainly just because I wanted a cheap alarm clock where I could use my iPod for the alarm. They were only £40 so I wasn't really expecting much but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. These are actually a really nice set of speakers. The sound quality is much better than I expected and I actually use it now as my main iPod speakers.

The great thing about this is just how easy it is to set up and use. Often with alarm clocks they can be quite fiddly which makes setting the time and alarm difficult but this isn't the case with this. I think being able to wake up to your iPod is a really great feature. It is so much nicer to be woken up by some soothing music than the harsh beeping of my old alarm clock. One of the other great features of the alarm clock is being able to set it so that it only comes on Monday through Friday. This means I don't have to remember to turn the alarm off at the weekends and then back on on Sunday evening.
