Unsung audiophile gems horribly hard to track down

These speakers were a sadly short-lived bid by Infinity Systems to make money from a high-end, no frills, stereo speaker.
Infinity decided to use the best quality components in an ordinary-looking cabinet to produce professional results at consumer prices.
The sensitivity is first rate and the speakers are beautifully neutral.
I had the chance to get to know them over a period of six months when I was working in a recording studio in California. The engineers were amazed that sound of this quality could be had for so little money given that they were made in tiny volume in Denmark.

When the company pulled the plug on the project in order to produce the decidedly ordinary Alpha series the stock was largely dispersed in home cinema packs paired with bookshelf speakers and a centre unit.

Amazing to think that these peerless audiophile gems are wasted in someone's low-end home cinema set-up. Sad;y they are rare on ebay.
