Disadvantages: Lacking bass frequencies

Well, people say that poison is often packed in small bottles. I think those little friends tell the same story.
After using those monitors in my studio as "second pair", first thing i was lacking was bass frequencies. Maybe a sub would solve this problem. But if you are listener that doesn't want music to rip your ears off, I think jbl control 1 is right answer. For the money you give for those monitors you will get quality. Middle and high range are very precise. As I said, bass is lacking. Listening to mixes from only these speakers is tricky question, my opinion is to buy a pair of normal computers speakers and frequently change your listening and compare. Response is very good. Like I said before, you'll get a clean picture of your mix, music etc. but anyone looking for bass experience will be a little bit disappointed . These little giants are my choice and as a second pair of monitors and I honestly think they do quite a good job.
