Personally, I am working on a hi-fi department in a big supermarket. I come into daily contact with speakers of the latest high quality brands, such as Canton, JBL, Harman / Kardon, Quadrall, Mordaunt, KEF and many more.
However, when I had to buy speakers for myself, I simply looked at some offers, and what had I noticed? Another shop had this E80 for sale at low amount of money. The choice was made, soon after I went to the store and listened to a couple CD's that I brought with me that day.
As soon as I got it in my possession, I tested it extensively. The points that stand apart besides the fact that this speaker doesn't cost a lot:
* There is virtually no distortion when I put the speakers on a higher and higher volume
* The speakers are fully 3-way, a subwoofer isn't necessary. If you adjust the settings of equalizer in a good way, any musical style can sound very well, from Michael Buble to Trance and even Hip-hop;
* Good design, it is as good as speakers from higher price segments.
This JBL Northridge e80 has a very good price-quality ratio. I personally don't know any other speaker for that can deliver such a quality for such a low price. I can definetely recommend this E80!
