JBL Northridge E Series E80 ... E80 dual 6-inch floorstanding loudspeaker delivers superb audio, whether used for critical listening in a stereo system, or when combined with a Northridge E center channel, bookshelf surrounds and a subwoofer to create a home theater system.

Equipped with JBL's tried-and-true titanium-laminate tweeters and PolyPlas drivers, the speaker reproduces high notes with extreme clarity. The lows and mids, efficiently boosted by dual 6-inch woofers and assisted by the FreeFlow flared port, are loud and clear, without unwanted distortion or boominess. The Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal (EOS) waveguide ensures that every seat is the best in the house for sweet music and intelligible dialogue, or for just rocking out. Since the transducers were purpose-designed to work together harmoniously, JBL's simple Straight-Line Signal Path (SSP) crossover network divides the signal with minimal processing (and minimal opportunity to degrade the signal). Dual sets of sturdy gold-plated, 5-way binding posts enable bi-amping or bi-wiring. With the high, midrange and low frequencies isolated, the E80's four transducers can reproduce their frequency ranges more efficiently and with greater accuracy. The computer-designed cabinet virtually eliminates distortion, and its slim European profile won't overpower your room.
