      Great all round budget speaker

I bought this speaker a little over 6 months ago to add to my home theater system and I have to say it is a very good center speaker, which I can not fault in any way. I have it linked up to a 5.1 surround system with a set of 4 Tannoy F1 customs, and a Pioneer S W160 Sub woofer, which are all linked to an Onkyo TSXR607 AV receiver.

I mostly use my set up with a movie or playing the Xbox with, although I have also used it with normal TV and the football, and I have to say this speaker has not embarrassed itself in any of these uses. The sound of the Kef is very rich and delivers a well balanced sound and can be surprisingly loud for its 120W rating.

The beech effect on the speaker is actually very nice and fits in well to any neutral color schemed room, or a room with other beech furnature. To begin with I found the speaker was a little too loud for the rest of my system, but after some tweaking in the amplifier settings it now fits in just perfectly. I would definitely recommend this to anybody, like myself, looking to get into the surround world.
