If you've got this amount of money go out and audition them, you won't be disappointed.

These speakers are outstandingly good, i've owned mine a while now and there's been no problems. The treble and bass responce is fantastic, and everything sounds well seperated. When you're sitting in the right place in the room you can't actually point to where the sound is coming from, due largely to the floating tweeter (if you look at a picture you'll see what i mean, the tweeter doesnt move but obviously the midrange speaker around it does, and it's not a gimick, it really gives very very good imaging, and a very wide (stereo) tuned range) which looks damn cool and very futuristic, but with the covers on they are as discreet and understated as you could like. Also mine came with a set of floor spikes, which were of more than adequate quality. I'm not sure bi-wiring is if any advantage, but the facility is there for either way of working. Highly recomended floorstanders, these would be great as stereo speakers or as front surround speakers, but probably too much for rear speakers.
