The Kitsound Mini Buddy Panda speaker is a great little phone or ipod accessory to throw in your bag whenever it is needed.
To use the speaker you simply have to plug it straight into your phone or ipod and that's it- so easy! It's very small and light so it's practical to carry around with you. It also feels like a good quality speaker so you wont have to worry about it breaking in your bag or pocket. As for the way it looks, it comes in different designs which are very cute and a great alternative to a plain looking speaker.
Even though this speaker is so small, it is surprising loud. You can also plug a second kitsound speaker into the one you have to amplify it even more. I would say you wouldn't need the second one unless you wanted the sound to be extremely loud and one is enough for having music on with friends etc.
The quality of the sound from the speaker is good. You could proabably get one the same size with better quality but at £10 it really doesn't bother me. I would suggest if sound quality is what you are looking for you don't buy this product but if you want a cheap simple speaker then go got it!
You charge the speaker with a USB cable that you can plug into your laptop or into a USB plug. It doesn't take long to charge at all- probably an hour for a full battery. On a fully charged battery this speaker lasts ages! You can have it running all night and not have to worry about it cutting off.
In my opinion, for £10 this is a great buy and good value if sound quality isn't overly important to you. I definitely recommend this product.
This is a great piece of kit and very affordable price that is so very easy to use. Basically just plug it in and that is it! Nothing compkicated in this at all. You dont need to be an ict expert to use this product. It is so small that it is portable and goes in any lady had bag. It seems quite resistant but it is a dinky item so we keep it safe in its box always.
What do we use it for?
My sons records his own singing on his ipod, then we all listened to him, great fun for all the family.
My husband watches rugby through online sites on his laptop, and enhanced the sound with this speaker.
We play music from mobile phone or ipdo at dinner party at home
Any negative points? Yes a few such as the following.
The quality is not the best and if you are after perfect sound for opera listening, this product is not for you.
It looks a bit childlish and some people may not like that although I am not bothered.
This is more an indoor product. If you want it for a garden party or a big space like a hall well I dont think this will cut the mustard.
Quite frankly for ten pounds the above negatives do not matter that much as there is not much to loose. My children like the themed aspect and that is why we got attracted to it amongst all the others and then bought it.
If you are on a budget and looking for a cheap speaker for your phone and etcetera then this mini panda speaker would be good for you, as long as you do not mind losing a bit of quality. The speaker itself is nice and compact, will not break easy like some others I have had. Bought this a as a temporary replacement for my wireless Bluetooth speaker. Slightly disappointed but hey, for £10 it was worth a go. Won''''t be hanging on to this this for too long, better suited for a teenager who listens to a lot of music or as a gift. Would highly recommend saving up for a higher quality speaker with more power and appeal unless it''''s only something you will be using occasionally. I would rate it at 3 stars for it''''s size and simplicity but it''''s just not strong enough to be something I would use regularly.
