The krk rp5's are phenomenally high quality studio monitors for the price. I bought these around a year ago and still love them to bits. The audio clarity in them is superb, since i bought these my mixdown and sound design skills have improved greatly. These monitors are fantastic for any beginners and amateur producers that want to take the next step forward. To use these monitors , you must have a audio interface which I recommend you get with XLR outputs as with that, these monitors run at the full potential they were created for. The bass on the monitors is very good aswell. The krks come with a mini volume dial on the back that allows you to fine tweak the decibel range aswell as the high frequency filter which is very useful for different styles of music production. Overall I would strongly recommend the KRK RP-5's to anyone looking to buy a set of studio monitors on a budget, the sound reproduction on them is great and they will not disappoint, just make sure you get the proper sound output (XLR).
