These speakers are simply amazing. I am not an audiophile or any sort of sound expert, but I am in love with these speakers. The M-Audio AV40 has a nice solid build and has 4-inch polypropylene-coated drivers with 3/4-inch ferrofluid-cooled silk dome tweeters.

These speakers provide great sound and a nice punchy bass. The bass is not overpowering, but it is not weak either. Before I only used cheap speakers and thought that they were fine. After getting these babys I can TRULY hear the beautiful sound clarity that has been missing. Music sounds so much better through these speakers.

I found a great deal online so I paid less than the retail price. Compared to other speakers in this price range, a lot of people find these speakers to be of better value. With these speakers, I can hear a lot of subtle details in songs and I can really hear the lows, mids, and highs with great clarity.

These speakers have 40 watts of power and that should be plenty for your personal use. I have never even cranked the volume all the way because I am sure my neighbors will complain about the noise. I usually keep the volume knob at a low level and the sound is still very loud. Watching movies and videos with these speakers are great because they have a very life-like sound.

Overall I would recommend these speakers to anyone. Don't spend money on those expensive speaker set ups because these are great and worth the money.
