... suited. The first thing we noticed when they arrived was the sheer size of the box (standing nearly as tall as my five year old daughter) and they were packaged very well. Next was to test them out. They came supplied with very thin speaker wire but we used our own thicker much better grade speaker cable. The difference in quality and sound stage is immense compared to the bookshelf speakers we we originally using. My husband and I have slowly been putting together a separate Sony hifi system and started by buying a Sony TA-940R Amplifier. The speakers in the system then became my weak link so my husband decided that for his birthday last year he wanted a new pair of speakers. The set he fell in love with was the SS-x90ED Sony speakers but they were well out of our price range so we both agreed that the SS-F6000 would be best suited.
