BK XLS200 Mk2 ... those who like to Buy British this product should appeal (assuming you re after a great subwoofer, that is!) What we have here is a quality built standalone subwoofer unit from BK Electronics of Essex, who proudly advertise the fact that their products are designed and manufactured in the UK. This beast is the XLS-200 DF (DF standing for Downward Facing, which is why you can t see the speaker unit in the photo). Lots of people have all-in-one Home Cinema systems, bought in a big box and all looking nice and tidy and fashionable, but the problem is, most of these type of systems have a serious lack of, for want of a better word, oomph when it comes to the low-e... JBL JRX-118SP ... are famous for their quality speakers and users of their products won t be surprised to discover that this self-powered subwoofer is excellent. Weighing in at 500 Watts (at peak) and 300 Watts (RMS) this is a hefty piece of kit which provides excellent sound quality and a proper booming bass. I reall;y wish I could say that I own a pair of these babies but I don t. I ve borrowed a friends set a few times and have been blown away with them. I really wish I could afford a pair but the lowest price I can find them for is just under £500 (maybe I should start saving). Canton AS 30 ... DUAL 9 INCH SUBWOOFER HAS BEEN THE BEST SUBWOOFER I HAVE EVER OWNED. I HAVE OWNED MANY SUBWOOFERS AND THIS ONE JUST ROCKS. IT HAS BEEN HAND CRAFTED IN GERMANY AND IS A DRASTIC IMPROVEMENT OVER THE PREVIOUS AS-30 SUBWOOFER WHICH WAS NOT A FONUM SERIES. GREAT SUBWOOFER FOR MUSIC BECAUSE IT IS TIGHT IN SOUND. I PAID $1200 USED FOR IT AND NEW RETAIL WAS ALMOST $1700. I HAVE HAD IT 2 YEARS NOW AND WISH I HAD ANOTHER...VERRY SIMILIAR PRODUCTS I HAVE USED ARE VELODYNE AND B&W LOUDSPEAKERS..
