Creative Labs Inspire T6060 ... bought these speakers for my games, and music and I wasn t dissapointed. They are surround sound and when playing a game I can now hear people behind me. Also the subwoofer is so powerful, when I am in a tank, the floor vibrates as the tank does to add to the experience. Music is also very good, it delivers some good bass lines, and the tweeters do justice to the higher sounds. I can turn it up and immerse myself in the music. One feature that I like is the line in port, which means if you buy a line in cable for £2 on eBay, you can plug your mp3 player in and play it, without having the computer on, although only two speaker and the subwoofer work then, though that i... Logitech X-620 ... Logitech speaker system is probably the best option for the price. Of course the benefits of having six satellite speakers is undisputed and gives an experience like no other. However the quality is something akin to a system of far higher price than this. Distortion is only evident at very high levels and I think this increases over time. The subwoofer is superb, though, and they cope excellently with all different types of music. You can even swivel the satellites bases so that they can be screwed into a wall.... Bose Acoustimass 5 ... have two systems. One is my serious listening and hobby system based on B&W 602.2's, and the other is in the living room for TV sound enhancement for movies, easy listening, background music for dinners or cocktail parties. Why were the AM-5's selected? Because they are "virtually invisible" (a Bose claim). Most people don't even realize there is a sound system in the living room. And because the sound really isn't that bad. Mine are AM-5 Series II's. Set up: They are driven by a 100 W/ch Sony STR-135 and a Sony CDP-XE500 for music, and there are feeds from the TV system.
