The Digitheatre from Videologic is a simple Home Cinema speaker system capable of bringing Dolby Digital (AC-3) 5.1 surround sound to you TV, DVD, PC or even a games console. Many people now own DVD players and watch films on Sky Digital but how many of you are still listening via Nicam stereo or Dolby Pro Logic. If so you?re really missing out on a truly cinematic experience that Dolby Digital can offer. Inside the box you will find a small decoder box with an LCD display, two front speakers, two rear speakers, one centre speaker, and a larger subwoofer speaker which incorporates the amplifier. You also get a small credit card sized remote control as well as ... Read the complete review

This little beauty set me back 150 quid...so its come down from 250 from last year. But to be honest have home theatre systems come along much in the last year or so? In my view they haven't. Yeh you get the cheap ones where the bass and sound quality aren't the best but for future technology...they all do the same. So whats home cinema system then? Thats how much I just paid for mine. It could have been priced up wrong but I wasn't going to ask. It was a toss up between the Yamaha HTBI 40 and the Videologic, but at under £300 the digitheatre won. The only gripe I have with this kit is that the centre console / speaker looks like a bedside radio alarm clock. ... Read the complete review

If you love movies as much as me you try to get as close to a cinematic experience in your own home. So you already own a DVD player and wide screen television well the only thing missing is a complete Dolby Digital home cinema system. The VideoLogic Digitheatere is one such system. It has all you could possibly want. It has two front speakers, two rear speakers, a centre speaker, a subwoofer, the decoder and of course a remote control. All the connecting cables are provided and although there are a lot of speakers it is very easy to wire up. The build quality of everything is excellent with the speakers all being sturdy yet stylish. The remote control is ... Read the complete review
