Advantages: Cheap, Full dolby Digital, great sound

Disadvantages: remote control

Dolby Digital at a fraction the price of more expensive models.

VideoLogic DigiTheatre is one the cheapest system around to give you great quality sound for your room.

I have had my system coming up to over a year and I tell you it was the best two hundred and fifty pounds that I have ever spent.

What you get
------------------

What you get in the box is six dedicated speakers including subwoofer with built in six-channel amplifier separate decoder box and slim-line remote control. Instruction manual is very clear to understand there no complicated information that anyone would not be able to understand. You also get the speaker wire and the audio cables to connect to amplifier to the decoder. You also get the connection to connect you dvd player up as well.

The Decoder
------------------

The decoder is a very small device, which has quite a few options available on it. The decoder can output the following

Dolby Digital (AC-3) – This is used for many dvd players or even connecting to your computer if you have digital sound card.
Dolby Pro Logic decode – This is used to connect to stereo Television or VCR also.

There are two types on input for the device one coaxial and Fibre Optical. I have connected my through fibre optical for pure digital output from my DVD player. This cable is not supplied by the company and cost me around 40 pounds for one. I know it sounds pricey for a 2-meter cable but it was well worth it.

The decoder does have a LCD display to see all your control option that you select and control the volume for each speaker a well.

Remote Control
---------------------

The remote control is one of the poorest things about the whole system. It’s very small and can control the whole decoder from your speak but you do need to inline the remote straight at the decoder.

Individual volume control for each speaker

Delay control
Mute on/off Bass
Control over modes (digital, Dolby pro-logic)

Overall I though this was a great product at just a great price. I know you all properly know that I’m the type of person who loves thing for a cheap price.

The quality of the sound is excellent I’ve got nearly 194 DVD and they all sound wicked. I watch all of movies through this sound system and I must admit the bass is really loud. I played the Matrix and their one scene from the gun shooting which some almost as if you’re there.

Their one important thing to remember is that when you get your speaker is that the positioning is really a key factor for great sound. There are several suggestions in the manual but do have a mess around as you may find better quality in different positions.

I would recommend this product to anyone, remember that you don’t have to connect your dvd to the sound system but you could also connect your game consoles as well. I got my playstion hook up as well,
