This little beauty set me back 150 quid...so its come down from 250 from last year. But to be honest have home theatre systems come along much in the last year or so? In my view they haven't. Yeh you get the cheap ones where the bass and sound quality aren't the best but for future technology...they all do the same.

So whats home cinema system then? Well basicly its a set of speakers where if you position it around the room well enough your get the effect that your in a cinema or there in person. If a shot is fired...the bullet will go around all the speakers which are placed around you. Bare in mind this only works if the speakers are set far enough away from each other and its in a large area. Home cinema systems are useless if you live in a shoebox of a bedroom.

This great system 7 speakers, 1 subwoofer and a electronic box. Basicly the 7 speakers are your average hifi speakers while the subwoofer is a massive box which allows you to adjust the bass. The bass is what creates the booming sound and allows you to set the volume up to stupid limits...but lets face it...inless your at a public event...who has there tv up full volume? The electronic box allows you to control what type of speakers you want to use. E.G. Do you want all speakers going...or just the side or front ones etc. You can control how loud you want certain speakers to be etc. To be honest it doesn't really do much but it makes it look abit trendy :) Anything with an LCD screen looks good LOL.

This system can be used for our VCR, DVD, PS2 but maybe its just my TV but I am pretty sure it isnt...but it can't be used on TV's so you can't watch Eastenders in surround sound :(

Sound quality is exceptional. There is no crackling in the background and when you really turn the volume up...that is when this thing comes into its own little world. Really I have never had any problems with it so far and touch wood not likely to as this is well put tog

Its available in charcoal or silver but it really has to match the TV so mine is black.

You get a small...like credit card remote but the buttons are a good size. I never use this but you can adjust the volume and test the system to make sure sound is coming out of each speaker.
