forzaf1 VideoLogic Digitheatre: ... little beauty set me back 150 quid...so its come down from 250 from last year. But to be honest have home theatre systems come along much in the last year or so? In my view they haven't. Yeh you get the cheap ones where the bass and sound quality aren't the best but for future technology...they all do the same. So whats home cinema system then? Well basicly its a set of speakers where if you position...

tupper VideoLogic Digitheatre
... isn't anything I can say that hasn't already been written about this superb surround sound baby. Except, if you are in the market for one they are now available at Richer sounds for £299.95. Thats how much I just paid for mine. It could have been priced up wrong but I wasn't going to ask. It was a toss up between the Yamaha HTBI 40 and the Videologic, but at under £300 the digitheatre won. The only gripe I have with this kit is that the centre console / speaker looks like a bedside radio alarm clock. ...

... first attracted me to these speakers was the appearance. Big, tall, slim speakers with a tweeter and then 3 6.5 inch woofer cones. Each woofer cone has a small 'w' in the centre, which I thought looked great. But still you cant buy speakers on looks alone. So I asked for a demonstration. The salesman put on the eminem CD and played 'Stan'. The treble at the start sounded amazing and when the thunder kicks, you can feel it in every bone of your body. Once I had heard them I knew I had to buy them. The first party I had, everybody asked me what they were, where I got them. Literally everyone there wanted to go and buy a pair. They all thought the...

... could be said that a subwoofer is more at home with a home cinema setup than as part of a chain of hifi components, but in my case the subwoofer is part of my main hifi. The fact is, I was a bit disappointed with the bass response from my Tannoy main speakers once I got them home, so I looked into subwoofers and bought this one, and what a great buy it was. Before I even listened to it I was very pleased with the way it looks, in its nice light-coloured beech finish and with its perfectly cubic shape and black grille it looks very good sitting to the left of my left main speaker stand. (You may or may not be aware that the source of very low-frequency sounds cannot ...
