Yamaha YST M8 ... magnetic storage media in the least. Thanks to Yamaha Active Servo Technology (YST) the amplifier, tuned bass-reflex enclosure and speakers actually interact to produce extended, tight, deep bass that's impossible with conventional speaker technology. The spruce pulp used to make the speaker cones, is the same material Yamaha uses to make piano soundboards. The result is a natural sound quality.

The YST-M8 speakers sound great by themselves. But for even more low-frequency power and performance, add the YST-MSW8 or YST-MSW10 subwoofer. The YST-M8 speakers offer you great flexibility. Plug your sound card into one input and your portable CD, radio or cassette player into the other for great game sound when you're playing and great music when you're working. When you don't want to disturb others, plug your headphones into the jack on the front of the YST-M8 to mute the speakers. The speaker's amplifier will drive your headphones far better than the headphone output of your sound card.
