      Very helpful

I don't know what made my mum buy this frozen mashed potato from Asda but it's the naffest mash I've ever eaten! lol It cost about £1.49 for the bag and says on the bag that it's going to be easy to cook in the microwave and delish.

It's deffo easy to cook because you just nuke it and stir, but I deffo wouldn't say it's anything like proper mash and actually tasted a lot like Smash dried mashed potato to me.

It comes in little frozen nuggets, you put 10 nuggets per portion of potatoes you need to make into a bowl and nuke for 2 mins or so stirring a couple of times. They start cooking quite quick and once they've started defrosting you just have to give them a stir a few times and eventually the nuggets will go into one and you'll end up with a sloppy sticky looking mash.... with the odd nugget sticking out! lol

When it was done I was surprised how strong of hot milk the mash smelt, I HATE hot milk so wasn't looking forward to trying the potato much! Luckily it doesn't taste of milk but it doesn't taste of potato much either..... the main taste of it is Smash potato and it's got a proper dry texture even though the mash actually looks quite moist.

It's got a dry taste as well and needs some salt adding I reckon, when you put the mash in your mouth you'll see that it feels mega sticky for a bit as you're chewing and when you pour the gravy over it you get a bit of white liquid mixing in with the gravy and it's like the mash is melting or dissolving or something.

I did some up for me and my 2 year old sister and neither of us liked it, I only ate 3 small mouth fulls of mine and chucked it but my sister hated the feel of it in her mouth and spat it out from the very first spoon. Little kids like that will eat any sort of mash so this one must be either very bad or very boring for her to react like that.

Not recommended.... dry and fake tasting mashed potato!!!
