      Delish Food Made Easy

I love using Bouquet Garni sachets because it's such a quick and easy way to add herbs to anything your cooking. Last night I cooked a lasagne and added a sachet to the white sauce for the topping and it gave it a delish flavour that I couldn't have got by mixing and adding my own herbs.

Bart's Bouquet Garni sachets are a brill idea, they're like big teabags that you use in anything that has got a liquid sauce and the flavour of the herbs will seep into the sauce to give a wicked flavour.

In the sachets they have used thyme, bay leaves, marjoram and parsley. You can smell the individual herbs in the dry sachets but once they've been soaked in the sauce you can't tell any one because they are mixed up so well and just give your meal a delish herby flavour.

When you've got the right amount of herb flavour to your meal you just take out the sachet in exactly the same way as you would a teabag.

I think they are a brill idea and I wouldn't be without my jar of Bouquet Garni sachets. Because the herbs inside them are dried you don't have to worry that they are going to go off even if you're not using them on a daily or weekly basis.

There's only one problem with them and that's that the sachets come in a normal sized herb jar, the bags are big and sometimes I worry I'm going to rip one of the sachets as I pull it out of the jar. I reckon they'd be better off being sold in little boxes or something because a jar isn't the most practical way to store them.

They're cheaper than you think they're going to be as well and a jar that contains about 10 Bouquet Garni sachets only costs about £1.49 and that's deffo a good price for such an easy way to add herbs to your cooking.
