      Peas, Peas, Peas!

I only brought these peas because I needed them for dinner and Tesco only had the tiny packs of Birds Eye peas in, that's a waste of time for us because there are 5 of us and we all love peas so the small packs are gone in one meal sometimes. These ones from Country Store was only £1.00 for a 907g pack and that means we'll get at least 3 meals out of the bag.

The peas wasn't all stuck together and it was easy to pour the amount I wanted into a pan without having to break blocks of stuck together peas up.

I cooked them the same way as any frozen peas by pouring boiling water over them and nuking for 3 mins in a bowl. They don't have such a fresh bright green colour as Birds Eye peas but they still look delish and when I had put a bit of butter on top you wouldn't know these was cheapo vegetables.

They taste yummy but at the end of the day they're not as nice as Birds Eye. The peas go a bit softer inside and that put me off because I love the faint crunch of peas from Birds Eye, these have got a nice fresh taste but because of them being soft I couldn't stop thinking that they was a bit too much like tinned peas.

The taste isn't as strong as Birds Eye and the peas don't LOOK as nice either because of them being a dull green colour instead of nice and bright. I'll probably buy them again but it's weird because I enjoyed them as much as any other peas but I couldn't help comparing them to Birds Eye, that's probably because all I've ever known has been Birds Eye and these DO look and taste a bit like a cheaper version.

Recommended..... but if you're like me and love Birds Eye then you will deffo see the difference.
