Who can resist Heinz Baked beans with Pork Sausages?

This product has been on our shop and supermarket shelves in the UK for as long as I can remember, and that's a very long time. In all those decades, the recipe appears not to have changed at all.....probably because Heinz know they have a winner here.

The traditional Heinz Baked Beans in sauce flavour is a tiny bit sharper than ordinary baked beans, probably due to some seepage from the very spicy little sausages during the canning process. There is a generous serving of sausages in the beans, and they are soft in texture.

What could make a better quick and tasty meal than Heinz Baked Beans with Pork Sausages, chips (or jacket or mashed potato), a fried or poached egg, and lots of crusty bread? An ideal meal for children too, and they love them.

They also, just heated up with a piece of bread to dip in the bean juice, make a great late night snack....especially when you've just returned from a heavy night out, are starving hungry, and can't be bothered to cook.

Good value for money, filling, tasty, and the beans are a very rich source of fibre.

The tin is even easier to open now that it comes with the ring-pull tab.

Summary: Excellent for a main meal or a snack/light meal for adults and children alike
