Advantages: cheap, easy to cook, filling
Disadvantages: not a pleasant smell
I have been eating beans and sausages from a can since i was about 5 years old. I have sampled many different brands including stores own brands but have always come back to good old heinz.
The Packaging:
Heinze beans and sausages comes in a 415g tin with a ring pull lid. The tin is tuorquoise with a purple centre. Within this is the name of the item and heinz's famous logo. On the back is the same design but there is also the cooking instructions and the ingredients etc.
The Taste:
These beans have a bit more of a kick to them than norma heinz beans, probably because they have been in a tin with the sausages so some of the flavour rubs off on them! The sausages really do taste like sausages (unusual for most canned ones!) and are not at all gristly or fatty.
The Smell:
I am not keen on the smell of these. They tend to smell a bit....im not sure how to put it....fake i suppose. However, i have been told that this is just me and my sisters cant tell what im going on about so maybe it is!
The Cooking:
Cooking these is really simple. Either pop in a microwavable bowl and coock for 2.5 mins stirring inbetween, or cook on the hob until piping hot!
I do find that it is much quicker and probably safer to cook, if you chop up the sausages first so that they are always cooked through thouroughly.
The Ingredients:
beans (35%) tomatoes (24%) water, pork sausages (17%) sugar, glucose-fructose syrup, modified cornflower, salt, spirit vinegar, spice extracts, herb extracts.

The Price:
