All I really wanted last night was a Baked Potato. I try different things on them, but my favourite is normally Cheese, Beans and a splodge of Coleslaw. Sometimes i've dumped a tin of Chicken Curry into a Baked Potato - even through my hubby says this sounds rotten - it's actually nice. So up the Baked Bean aisle I went for these, so I got the benefit of Beans, the loveliness of the Sauce to soak into the Potato and some Sausages to make things more interesting.

The size of the tin was 415g and cost 98p at Asda. I used the whole tin and it was enough with my 2 Small Baked Potatoes - I could not find a decent sized one last night!

The packaging was alright. Instead of the normal looking tin which is pictured here, and what is normally sold like, this was packaged like the front page of a Newspaper with it saying Saucy edition. The product inside wasn't any different, but the label looked alright and not so boring. The main colour on the can is a turquoise and the writing is in black with the odd white bit on it. The Heinz brand is easy to see as well on this. This has a ring pull, so easy enough to open.

I put the whole tin in a bowl and Microwaved for 2 minutes, but you can heat in a pan as well. It was just easy and less fuss to Micro while I was sorting the Potatoes.

There was 6 Sausages in here, a couple more than I was expecting. They were approx the lenght of my index finger, and although not really that thick, were thick enough and not too skinny or that. There was a good amount of Beans and the Sauce was a nice light tasting Tomato. The Sauce is always really runny, and I wouldn't grumble if it was a little thicker, but this is what it is.

Unfortunately the tin has been launched, but I think the calories per 415g is around 430 and the fat is pretty low, but I cannot comment properly.

A nice change and an extra bit food for my Potato. Heinz Beans are always nicer than any other brand i've tried!
