Morrisons Curly Fries
Advantages: Delish; Wicked seasoning; Fluffy potato inside
Disadvantages: Some of them always go hard in the oven
I don't like a lot of Morrisons own brand food but these Curly Fries are delish, they only cost about £1.20 a bag and are so yummy that I can't stop eating them at the minute.
They are oven fries that are curled up, some are in tight spirals but then you've got smaller ones in the bag that are just sort of wavy. I love the spiral ones because as they're cooking they open out like them Turkey Twizzlers used to. These fries don't cook all that even so I recommend you put a few more in than you're going to eat because some will deffo end up too hard and crunchy to eat.
They have got a light coating on that's a bit spicey, it doesn't say on the bag but I reckon it's Southern Style seasoning. It's nice and peppery with a delish spice that cops the back of the tongue like all good Southern fried food.
The chips are nice because the insides are fluffy and yummy, loads of supermarket own brand chips are nearly hollow inside because all the potato has disappeared while it's cooking. These stay nice and fluffy and that makes them wicked to eat, I also love how the spicey coating goes sooooo nice with the potato inside the chips.
Like I said some of the fries go mega hard in the oven and I wouldn't try eating one of the hard ones because you might break a tooth on it, they're not crunchy just HARD!
That doesn't bother me that much though because if you just put too many in in the first place you'll end up with just the right amount by the time they're done! lol
These chips are wicked with ketchup but not that good for a butty because they're too thin and fries never taste right on bread. I like that these aren't greasy either, they hardly leave any fat on the baking tray and the taste of them deffo isn't oily.
Summary: Yummy Fries!
