      Morrisons Garlic Coleslaw

Ive been meaning to review this product for ages now but for some reason I keep stopping and starting again when Im in the middle of the review. Im going to try very hard to finish it today though because all my product suggestions seem to be mounting up now! Anyway I always say in reviews like this that Im not the biggest fan of supermarkets own brand products, not because Im a food snob or anything but simply because I dont think they taste as good as the bigger name brands. However lately Im starting to think Im going to ahve to revise that opinion and that is because of foods like this coleslaw.

Now I only ended up trying this by accident. My mom went shopping a few months ago for some salad foods for lunch and she picked up the wrong coleslaw in Morrisons. Now as she didnt realise her mistake till she got home we all decided to try it out anyway. Although none of us were expecting it to be nice at all. We were wrong!

This is quite possibly the nicest coleslaw I have ever tasted. It has all the same ingredients inside to give it that lovely crunchy yet creamy texture: lettuce, carrots, cabbage etc but this has garlic in it as well. Now I thought that this would be one of two things: the garlic wouldnt be strong enough or it would be proper overpowering but I have to say I think they got it just right. The garlic does come through as a sort of aftertaste but I think they have got the flavours just right and it is a great twist on the orginal coleslaw. I reckon this would add a bit more flavour to any meal and it tastes proper good on a ham cob!

Since that very first time we tried this my mom hasnt bought any other coleslaw as this has become such a firm family favourite so I highly recommend that everyone tries this out. This product may have just changed my opinion on supermarkets own brand products so you know its got to be good!

I couldnt find the exact nutritional information for this product on the Morrisons website but I can only assume it is more or less the same as ordinary coleslaw, because garlic cant have that many calories! I think this isnt very healthy but its also not terrible for you so it makes a nice change and treat.

I think a tub of this will cost you around £2 from Morrisons which is great value for money because its soo nice. The only downside I can think of is this tub wont last very long if your family like it as much as mine do!

      HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

      Thanks For Reading
